Privacy policy

The controller of your personal data is LMD Technologies s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 219 25 780, Farní 728/15, 162 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic, e-mail info@lmd-technologies.cz. Write to us with any question about your data.

Trial registration – e-mail, name and company (optional), language, time and IP address, your consent to the terms. Purpose: sending the download link and activation key and managing the trial. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Licence activation and daily check – licence key, an anonymised computer fingerprint (a one-way hash of the Windows machine ID, from which the ID cannot be recovered), computer name, Axion version, IP address and time. Purpose: activating Axion, enforcing the licence terms and preventing abuse. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Purchases and subscriptions – from Link (Stripe) we receive your e-mail and name, country, the plan, billing period, amounts paid and the subscription status. We do not receive your card details. Purpose: issuing and renewing the licence, support and our accounting. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

Communication – if you write to us, the content of your messages and your contact details, to answer you and prepare offers you ask for.

News (optional) – your e-mail for occasional news about Axion, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any e-mail or writing to us.

Axion runs locally in SOLIDWORKS. Your models, drawings, files, chat history and your AI API keys stay on your computer (keys are stored encrypted) and are not sent to us. Chat questions with the necessary context go directly from your computer to the AI provider you selected (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Mistral) and are processed under that provider's terms.

The website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Your language choice is stored only in your browser. When you visit the site, the hosting provider processes your IP address and technical data for security and operation, and web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address.

We use these service providers: Cloudflare (licence server and database), Resend (e-mail delivery, EU region), GitHub (website hosting), Google (web fonts) and Czechia.cz (domains and DNS). Some of them are based in the USA; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Payments are processed by Link / Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland, and Stripe, Inc., USA) as an independent controller under the Stripe privacy policy. We do not sell your data.

Registration and licence records: for the duration of the licence and up to 3 years after it ends (prevention of abuse, defence of legal claims). Purchase records: for the duration of the subscription and then for as long as accounting and tax law requires (up to 10 years). Licence check logs: up to 24 months. News: until you withdraw consent. Correspondence: as long as needed to handle your request.

You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to withdraw consent. Data is transferred only over encrypted connections, licences are digitally signed and access to the licence database is restricted to authorised persons of LMD Technologies s.r.o.
